Η Via, η μοναδική κόρη του Don Fernando, μεγάλωσε ως η αγαπημένη του πριγκίπισσα. Στα δέκατα όγδοα γενέθλιά της, ανακάλυψε ότι ο πατέρας της έχει υποσχεθεί το χέρι της στον παιδικό της φίλο, Michael, και πριν τελειώσει το πάρτι γενεθλίων, την απήγαγαν. Την έσωσε ένας καλός Σαμαρείτης ονόματι Gabriel, τον οποίο ερωτεύτηκε. Ο Michael, στο τελευταίο μέρος της ιστορίας, συνδέθηκε ρομαντικά με την καλύτερη φίλη της Via, την Trina. Καθώς η ιστορία εξελίσσεται, η Via κατέληξε να αποφασίσει ανάμεσα στους δύο άντρες στη ζωή της, ενώ μαθαίνει περισσότερα για τη μητέρα της Magda και παλεύει με την κακιά θεία της Selina.
