Cat People

Nastassia Kinski spelar den unga Irena som upptäcker kraften hos sin undertryckta sexualitet när hon för första gången blir förälskad. Syskonen Irena och Paul tillhör ett utdöende kattmänniskosläkte där man måste para sig inom rasen – om de har sex med vanliga människor förvandlas de till leopardliknande djur och måste döda någon för att återfå mänsklig skepnad. För att rädda rasen gör Paul incestuösa närmanden mot Irena i denna blodiga och erotiskt laddade kultskräckis som både är en variation på varulvstemat och en parabel om sexuell förträngning.
