Takeda was diagnosed with cancer and was told that he only had three months to live. With the statute of limitations on his daughter whose skeletal corpse was discovered, he spends his remaining days searching for the criminal with a young detective. 2002 Monday drama series Takeda (Kinya Kitaoji) was diagnosed with cancer and was told he had only three months to live. Ten years ago, he lost his wife, Naomi (Sanae Tsuchida), to the same disease. Juri Ueno) has disappeared. Takeda tries to commit suicide when he receives a phone call from the Shiga Prefectural Police. Sawako's skeletal corpse is said to have been discovered. Female detective Murai (Yasuko Tomita) sets out to investigate a case whose statute of limitations is about to expire. At a lake, the two find a picture left behind by Sawako.
