楢山節考
親を捨てるか、子を捨てられるか。
深沢七郎の同名小説の、木下恵介監督作品に次ぐ2度目の映画化。今村昌平監督が、因習により山に捨てられる老婆と、その息子の心の葛藤を描いた人間ドラマ。1983年のカンヌ国際映画祭グランプリ受賞。信州の山深い寒村。いまだ元気に働くおりんだったが、今年、楢山まいりを迎えようとしていた。それは、70歳の冬に皆、息子に背負われ楢山へ捨て置かれるという村の掟のこと。神に召されると喜ぶおりんに対し、息子・辰平は気持ちの整理がつかない……。
